‘Saturday Night Live’: Justin Timberlake proves his awesomeness with pizza

Before we even get to talking about this weekend’s edition of “Saturday Night Live” hosted by Justin Timberlake, we want to point out something really cool that the host did in order to say thanks to the guests that were waiting in line (some for days) in order to secure standby tickets to see him perform: he made sure that they stayed not only warm, but had a full belly so that they could keep waiting with smiles on their faces.

For those who were waiting around in the bitter cold (and the snow) in New York City Friday night, they received a welcome surprise: not only did Timberlake visit them, but he and the show’s crew provided them with pizza, hot soup, and even desserts. Not only that, but he apparently signed one pizza box with this awesome caption: “I made this pizza with my bare hands.”

Timberlake is not the first “SNL” host to try and provide something special for folks waiting in line, but we’re not sure if any have went the extra mile to the same extent that he did here. Hopefully, his show lives up to the high expectations that he has created for himself. There are some rumors floating around about some big-name guests stopping by for what will be Justin’s fifth time hosting the show, but we don’t want to spoil anything for those of you hoping to get some big laughs. (With a show like this, it really is all about the surprise first and foremost.)
