‘How I Met Your Mother’ season 8 spoilers: What lies ahead for Ted and the gang

Do you love “How I Met Your Mother“? If so, it is certainly understandable, and you are likely going to be even more exited about what is coming up down the road for the show. There are a handful of episodes left until we get to see the big wedding for Ted and the gang, though sadly we are still going to be waiting on some of them for at least another week.

As you may know already, the next new episode of the series is not going to be airing until a week from Monday; however, what you may not be aware of is that there seems to be a minor change in the scheduling. The episode was supposed to be “Time Travelers,” but it appears now that this half-hour has switched place with the episode entitled “The Fortress,” and they are going in reverse order. There is no real word yet as to why this change has been made, but we can assume that if this turns out to be true, neither episode is going to end up changing the short-term story of the series that much.

The episodes that really are still the ones to watch out for will come in April and May, whether it be Barney’s bachelor party (which re-introduces us to an old game that he played early on in the series during a certain trip to Atlantic City), last-minute preparations for the big day, and of course the wedding itself … where Ted is supposed to finally meet the future mother of his two kids. Unfortunately, we don’t know if we will actually learn who is the mother this season or not.
