‘The Bachelor’ finale spoilers: Sean Lowe’s letter bleeds into ‘After the Final Rose’

In this modern day and age of spoilers, it is really rather remarkable that there is one question pertaining to “The Bachelor” that no one still knows an answer to: what in the world was written in that letter than Sean Lowe receives from Chris Harrison? We’ve seen it time and time again at the final spot in which our leading man is meant to propose, and there have been moments over the past several weeks where we have wondered whether or not this is just ABC and executive producer Mike Fleiss milking the fact that there is something out there driving much of America insane.

Since the letter mystery first surfaced, we have wondered constantly about what could be written that was so important that Sean had to see it right away, whether it be that one of the ladies bailed on him at the last minute, that Sean’s mother was apologizing for getting so emotional, or even one of the other girls writing him to wish him good luck. The fact that there are photos of Catherine and Lindsay both walking to the proposal spot seem to negate our earlier theory, and the other two just seem implausible.

One of our favorite other theories has been that if Sean picks Catherine, maybe the letter is from her mother giving her his blessing to propose; however, the following tweet from Fleiss on the finale seems to even negate this possibility:

“The letter sets off a chain reaction that doesn’t end until the LIVE AFR. #Bachelor“

Obviously, the letter being about a blessing would surely not be so important as to set off a “chain reaction,” but since Sean has said publicly that he is very happy with his life right now, we have a feeling that whatever it is could not have been too horrible.
