‘Dexter’ season 8 spoilers: See more of Michael C. Hall, Sean Patrick Flannery

With “Dexter” currently shooting the second episode of season 8 (and with star Michael C. Hall behind the helm), we’re once again getting an opportunity to check out a few photos from when some of the actors had a few moments to take a deep breath.

The first image to the left was sent out via series star Jennifer Carpenter, and it features Michael C. Hall, Desmond Harrington, and executive producer Sara Colleton all apparently doing their best to look like they are some part of scary gang in the streets of Los Angeles Miami. We wonder just how much Hall is going to be directing himself for this episode, but based on the clothes that he is wearing in this photo, it is likely that he is not working on a Dexter scene at the time the picture was taken. (The same goes for Quinn.)

As for this second photo, it features our first look at Nick Gomez and Sean Patrick Flannery on the set. Gomez (who is coming off a role on “The Walking Dead”) is going to be taking on the part of a killer named Javier; meanwhile, Flannery is going to be playing a former cop-turned private investigator, and it is unclear just what sort of role he is going to have in the story right now. (We presume that Gomez is going to be a target of Dexter Morgan’s, based largely on the fact that he is only slated to appear on the show for a couple of episodes at the moment.)
