‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2, episode 15 preview: Mr. Gold and Emma bond
Thus far, most of the sneak peeks that we have had to share for “Once Upon a Time’s” return Sunday night have revolved around Snow White and her former attendant, played by “Downton Abbey” star Lesley Nicol. So with this in mind, we’re going to be changing things up a bit now and focusing on a very different sort of universe: one featuring what is currently going on in New York City.
As you likely remember from “Manhattan,” Emma Swan finally revealed to Henry that she had lied to him all of this time about his father actually being alive, and he’s now getting an opportunity to spend time with him and figure out just who he is. The latest example of this? Getting to dine at one of New York City’s finest pizzerias, but not inviting either Mr. Gold or Emma to come inside.
This particular move sparks a conversation between Jennifer Morrison and Robert Carlyle’s characters about just what Henry wants out of his relationships with them, and that he probably resents Emma already for the lie. If she does not make an effort now to invite Neal into the world of Storybrooke, she runs the risk of Henry taking off like he did back in the pilot in order to try and find him again. In trying to push the two apart, she in some ways runs the risk of becoming one of the very people she hates more than anyone: Regina.
What do you think about what Mr. Gold has to say here: should Neal come back to Storybrooke, and is he right that Henry would probably take off one day if she doesn’t make the invitation? If you want to watch some more sneak peeks now, you can do so over here.
