‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: Lea Michele talks ‘pregnancy’ plot, Rachel and Finn
So is Lea Michele’s Rachel Berry really going to be pregnant when “Glee” season 4 picks up on Thursday night? While the last new episode “I Do” had the sort of cliffhanger ending that would cause fans to understandably freak out, at the end of the day it still seems unlikely that the show would choose to tread all over ground that was previously covered by Dianna Agron’s Quinn Fabray.
With this in mind, Lea Michele seems to downplay the idea of of Rachel ultimately having a baby with either Finn or Brody in a chat with E! News at the Paley Center for Media, where executive producer Ryan Murph was honored recently for his lifetime achievement in the world of television:
“I don’t know, they’re kind of young. She’s still like 17 or something! We’re no teen moms.”
When it comes specifically to the subject of Rachel’s future with Finn, Michele did not give a definitive answer as to whether or not they will be back together soon after they hooked up in a hotel. However, she did at least suggest that there is a reason to be hopeful:
“I think that they’ll always be on-again, off-again … I think that the end result is what everybody wants.”
Translation? That Finn and Rachel are obviously the endgame for each of the characters here, but Murphy does not seem particularly interested in rushing a relationship between the two parties if he does not have to. After all, it does not make sense for Finn to be in New York City right now, especially after he is starting to find his adult voice in leading New Directions.
Do you think that “Finchel” is indeed endgame for the characters on “Glee”? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below, and you can also read some more scoop on Blaine’s love life from Darren Criss here.

Finn finding his adult voice leading New Directions did you just honestly say that. This show has given Cory nothing to do this year he already led new directions for parts of 3 seasons and now they try to rewrite the character and give him nothing to do except have people that like him tune in to watch the new kids get even songs built up to go touring this summer to fill the coffers of murphy productions and fox hey lets get a season 5 on the backs of the fans that thought this character would get a good story line this year. What a joke this show has become god I am so upset. The best thing they could have done would have been to have him wander around the state of georgia that would have been a far more epic journey for finn then being screech on glee.

If you think about it, Glee was pretty much made around Finche, Quinns baby was Noah’s after all, that was mostly made for either drama, or Finn open for Rachel. Plus if they want Lea’s character, Rachel, to be preggers, why did they get Finn involved? Again, it could be to create more drama and tension as whose baby it is, but Finchel is endgame, it all revolves around those two. It has to be Finn’s baby, if not, then the whole show changes, and by the amount of people who want it to be Finns, the show will lose viewers if the baby is Brody’s. Brody cheated on Lea, and I bet he did when she was gone (if I understood the scene correctly) Brody would be an unfit father and most like wouldn’t want it.
