‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 3 finale spoilers: Who meets ‘Red Coat’?

Over the past several years with “Pretty Little Liars,” we have been conditioned to believe that the only villain that we really have to watch out for is “A” or one of her minions. But as it turns out, though, there is another sort of ringleader who the ladies are just starting to get to meet … and she comes in the form of a red coat.

Red Coat (as we are currently calling her) is likely a reference to what executive producer Marlene King was really talking about back when she was frequently saying “red is the new black” prior to the start of the new season. The black hoodies are very much emblematic of “A,” whereas this color is far more bold an unafraid.

As the photo above (which was first posted by Entertainment Weekly) clearly shows, there is a time coming up when Spencer is actually going to meet this woman face to face. So who is hiding under this coat? That, dear friends, is the million-dollar question, but regardless of who it is, it will likely be a game-changer. Some of the current theories out there include CeCe Drake, Alison DiLaurentis herself, or possibly even the twin that was introduced during the book series. All we know thus far is that it is a blonde woman, and that they have a serious ax to grind with all of the Liars in order to put them through the sort of suffering that they have experienced as of late.
