‘Suits’ season 3 spoilers: How does Rachel move forward?

Suits“Suits” may be done for the next several months, but the folks behind the show are already hard at work trying to figure out just what happens for this cast of characters moving forward. We’ve already heard a little bit about what may be next for Rachel in terms of her relationship with Mike, but now, we’re looking at things from a little bit of a different perspective in how her rejection from Harvard will impact her career in the months ahead.

In speaking to TVLine on the subject, executive producer Aaron Korsh explained that the dream for her is not entirely over yet, and now she just has to figure out if there are any other law schools out there that she can apply to given the fact that this should not be something that hinders her much given the experience that she already has:

“I don’t think her quest to become a lawyer is dead … [But] she’s going to have to deal with what she wants to do [in Season 3]. She acted with hubris [and] didn’t apply to a backup school. There are other schools she can apply to. She’s got to decide what she wants to do moving forward.”

Rachel is just one of the many characters now currently at a career crossroads. With a merger on the horizon, Harvey has to pick up the pieces when it comes to his relationship with Jessica, and Mike has to figure out just he is going to do in general considering that Harvey fired him. Considering that these are the characters that we have already come to know and love, we imagine that he will somehow find a way to weasel his way back into the Pearson walls.

If you were Rachel, what would you do in her situation? If you want to read some more from “Suits” season 3 from Korsh, be sure to check out the story over here.
