‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9, episode 15 preview: Between a rock and a hard place

In just a few short hours, Thursday night’s “Grey’s Anatomy” season 9 episode is going to be here … and within that, we have a major development with some of the doctors at Seattle Grace: they are going to really stick start an epic game of chess with the hospital over just who is going to end up becoming the new buyer for the establishment.

Based on what we saw last week alone, we know already that the likes of Derek and Callie are each interested already in having the plane crash survivors actually buy the place up … and by the time the clip below airs, it seems as though they are going to all be in on it.

After all, we learned already that the hospital board was interested in selling to a company that was already in this business, but at the same time also does not have some of the best hospitals in the world. They want to be able to ensure that the patients receive the care that they believe they need, and who better to provide that than some of the best doctors in the business?

In making the move to all spontaneously quit (including Cristina), which must come as some sort of a blow to Owen, the doctors have all put the pressure on the board to make a favorable decision: if they do sell to another hospital, they do so knowing that these doctors, with their massive $15 million paychecks in hand, have little motivation to come back to work for some people that they have no interest in working with.
