‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6, episode 16 preview: When romance ninjas attack

Love is going to be in the for Thursday night’s new “Big Bang Theory” season 6 episode, as every single one of the show’s primary couples is going to have an opportunity to be a part of a story where they can be shown off.

But which couple is to us the most interesting? The answer to that here has to be Sheldon and Amy, largely because one of them is so desperate to enjoy the day as one of the most significant moments of her life, whereas the other is so desperate to treat the day as a blip of his radar. We know that Sheldon is not romantic, and would probably rather pretend that the day does not exist than actually celebrate it.

Based on what we are hearing, there will be some significant moments between the two characters during this episode that actually do progress the two a little bit further than just merely a dating couple with hopes of going the distance. Don’t expect it to be necessarily over the top, though: we’re hearing that it will something a little bit more similar to what happened with Castle and Beckett over on that ABC series Monday night.

This episode does also mark the arrival of Kate Micucci playing a potential love interest for Raj, but sadly, she is nowhere to be found in the promo below. (Let’s just hope that the producers are saving her for something big later on.)Micucci is slated to appear in at least a handful of episodes, but after that her future remains unclear.
