‘The X Factor’ USA: Emblem3, Carly Rose Sonenclar show love for Tate Stevens video
Just in case you wanted even more evidence that the contestants on “The X Factor” USA all get along and are great friends now, just look at the super-classy outpouring of love that came in for Tate Stevens after his “Holler If You’re With Me” video ended up airing during the Grammys on Sunday night. It’s something that they surely did not have to do (since not all of them did it), but it was a kind gesture that serves as a reminder that while this show is a competition, it can be warm and fuzzy rather than cutthroat.
Check out some of the nice messages left for Tate below, along with the full video if you have not seen it already.
Carly Rose Sonenclar – “how cool was @tatestevensctry‘s video!? i thought it was really great!”
Emblem3 – “Just saw @tatestevensctry new video for Holler If You’re With Me – awesome!!”
Normani Kordei – “JUST SAW @tatestevensctry IN A PEPSIE COMMERCIAL DURING THE GRAMMY’S #TATORNATION”
Allybrooke Hernandez – “Congratulations to @tatestevensctry for his fantastic Pepsi commercial!! Love you, and I am so happy for you :)”
The one thing that we are genuinely surprised about at the moment is that Simon Cowell, despite having six million followers and a deep investment in Tate’s career, did not post a message or anything about the video. (Demi Lovato and CeCe Frey both tweeted him congratulations about it before it even aired during the Grammy telecast.) It’s not really some giant conspiracy, though: Simon is just an infrequent tweeter, and he hasn’t quite lived up to his promise to be “interesting” on the social-networking site lately.
Let’s just hope that when Carly, Emblem3, and the aforementioned ladies of Fifth Harmony all release their music videos in the future, Tate is kind and gracious enough to return the favor of support.

Tate has enough talent for his producers to make him good. And he did a great job on Hollier song. Carly would have blown it to kingdom come. I think they really don’t know what to do with a 13 yr old that has a talent that surpasses all the great singers in the world. They gave her the songs from the best singers in the world and she blew them right out of the waters.

I’m not a country music fan, but I have to admit this song is pretty good, he’s got that old school twangy country thing going, I’ll never buy his music but he’ll have a successful country music career. I’m not going to buy something just because someone I like endorses it, but I do plan on buying all of Carly’s music as soon as its available….waiting patiently and still believe she’ll have the most success out of all the contestants.

Gotta agree with “carly”…if Carly Rose or if Fifth Harmony did it, I’d definitely start buying pepsi! :) I’m a country music fan, but I just could never find it in me to support Tate. After he threw Willie Jones under the bus during bootcamp, I just couldn’t be a fan..and will never be. Karma’s a “B”, so we’ll see what happens for old Tate.
