‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: ‘The Glee Project’s’ Ali Stroker to romance Artie (photo)
Well, the worst-kept secret out there on TV is now pretty much official: Ali Stroker is the new “Glee Project” alum to make her way onto “Glee.”
As the photo to the left clearly shows, Stroker (who was one of the runner-ups to Blake Jenner on the Oxygen competition this past season) is set to play the role of Betty, Emma’s niece who is of course in attendance at her wedding to Will during the “I Do” episode on Thursday night. We don’t know if she has an arc that lasts beyond just an episode or not just yet, but the photo clearly shows her getting her groove on with Artie (Kevin McHale) while out on the dance floor.
We know that this wedding is going to bring a number of surprises, including some surprising hookups, returning favorites, and of course the big question as to whether or not Emma is going to reveal to Will that she and Finn Hudson actually locked lips together in the middle of her panic attack during the “Diva” episode.
So is there going to be another “Glee Project” star stopping by? If so, producers are keeping things very under wraps. Damian McGinty recently returned to Los Angeles after some time traveling, but we have not seen or heard any indication that Rory Flanagan will be flying in for the ceremony (which would, along with Lauren Zizes, make him one of the two notable former New Directions members who are not in attendance for the nuptials).
Are you excited to see Ali make an appearance on “Glee,” and do you want her character to stick around for a while? If you want to her some of the music from “I Do,” you can do so over at the link here.

So tired of the perpetual false trails regarding Damian McGinty’s return to Glee. Please stop. Certainly, it would be great to see him perform, but it is just as disgusting to use his name to generate interest in this show as it was to use him as virtual wallpaper when he was on the show. Give it a rest.

I’d love to see Ali stick around. She’s a talented performer and I’ve been waiting for this show to cast a chair user since day one.
