‘Glee’ season 4 spoilers: See Heather Morris, Jenna Ushkowitz go glam (photo)

Heather Morris and Jenna Ushkowitz are having a field day with the “Glee” costume designers this season. They just had the opportunity to play dress up for the “Diva” episode, they will be doing so again for Will and Emma’s wedding, and based on the new photo to the left courtesy of executive producer Ryan Murphy, they have quite a showcase coming up that will showcase some Hollywood glamour.

Based on what we know is coming up for the show, we presume that this musical number will occur during the “Girls (and Boys) on Film” episode, which is the one that will be airing following “I Do” when the show returns from an “American Idol”-necessitated hiatus. (There’s no concrete date announced yet.)

This episode is going to be the return of something that is a “Glee” tradition: a mash-up competition between the sexes. The only real difference here is that the boys and the girls will be competing with the theme of movie music front and center. (Doesn’t this sound like an “American Idol” theme week to anyone else?) The actors pictured here include Vanessa Lengies, Morris, Melissa Benoist, Alex Newell, Becca Tobin, and Ushkowitz in the top right.

At some point soon after this episode, we presume that we will see the return of Regionals as New Directions, thanks in part to the Warblers using performance-enhancing drugs (yes, that still sounds silly), tries to get back to the National rounds again to defend their hard-earned title with a very different group of singers.
