‘American Horror Story’ season 3: ‘Salem’ posters cool, but fake
So with this in mind, isn’t it about time that we debunk the latest rumor floating around the internet right now? The poster below here has been circulating are the internet for the past several days, with many speculating that this is an early leak on the new season, which makes a little bit of sense only in that Ryan Murphy has already conceptualized what he wants to see on FX in the fall.
Now it’s time to burst a few bubbles: as cool as the poster is, it’s a fake. It’s one that someone put a great deal of time into, but a fake nonetheless. Why on earth would FX start promoting a new season now eight months before it is supposed to premiere? Considering that they have not even announced the full returning cast just yet, the move just does not make any sense.
In reality, the theme for the new season will probably be revealed at some point in the late spring as the show gears up to start production in the summer. By the time Comic-Con rolls around, regardless of whether or not the show has a presence there, this will likely be when FX starts to roll out at least a few pieces of promotional material. If they were to do it now, then most casual viewers would forget about “American Horror Story” long before it came back on air.
For now, let’s leave you with this: if you want to see who all has been confirmed for the new season of the show at the moment, you can do so over at the link here.
