‘Suits’ season 2, episode 15 review: Future planning leads to questions
Brace yourselves: Hardman is back on “Suits,” and he is of course bringing with him an enormous mess at every turn. Thursday night’s episode had probably everything you would want to see from Daniel’s return, and thus it has to be considered one of the defining moments out of all of season 2 thus far. There was drama, occasional moments of laughter, and some surprises that are going to shape the course of the show moving forward.
For one, who ever thought that someone would help to create some sort of unity in the firm? For once, everyone seemed to form a united front with Hardman after he forged both a lawsuit against Jessica while also trying to derail just about everything else going on at the same time. Donna’s slap on him was the slap heard around the world, and even Louis Litt got in on the action in a way that was far preferred than that weird “50 Shades of Grey” thing that happened during the midseason premiere.
While watching the electricity flow here was a blast to watch, the one thing we’re actually left wondering at the moment is has nothing to do with Hardman at all. Could Rachel actually end up leaving for a time? Her interest at the moment seems firmly locked in on attending Harvard Law, and while this would undoubtedly by great for her career, it’s not so great when it comes to getting an opportunity to see her every week. Considering the university’s status as a farm for lawyers, we’d likely see her again, but we can’t really imagine a world with her just as a recurring character after all she and Mike have went through already.
Overall, do you love “Suits” or loathe it when Hardman is around? Be sure to share your thoughts below, and you can read some more highlights from “Suits” season 2 by heading on over to the link here.
