‘Glee’ season 4, episode 13 preview: Naya Rivera – Heather Morris scoop!
Now that Naya Rivera has finished up making an M&M very uncomfortable, we have something else to share when it comes to Thursday night’s “Glee” season 4 episode: a performance that takes her character back to some of her cheerleading roots. However, she is not going to be performing it while wearing the classic colors of McKinley High.
Rather, Santana Lopez has somehow managed to convince some of her fellow cheerleaders from the University of Louisville (proving that she does in fact have some friends there) in order to come up to Ohio and help her out with a performance of the Ike & Tina Turner classic “Nutbush City Limits.” The video below features a tiny bit of Santana’s vocals, along with some of the stars (including Jacob Artist and Alex Newell) discussing why exactly they love this performance for Naya so much.
What may be a little bit more interesting than even the performance to some Brittany and Santana supports is the reason why the former Cheerio is back at McKinley in the first place: she heard from Tina that Heather Morris’ character has started to date Sam (Chord Overstreet), and it is possible that this will have reignited the passion within her to fight for the woman that she loves. After all, we always had a hard time grappling with the fact that the two broke up simply because they were not really getting to spend much time together.
Will “Brittana” be back on by the end of the episode? We don’t know. All we can say is that Santana is going to make some enormous decisions for herself by the time that this episode is wrapped up.
