‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 6, episode 15 preview: Spoilers and splits

Anytime that you end up spoiling the ending of a show / movie for someone you love, it always ends up becoming a big deal. When you are a character on “The Big Bang Theory,” meanwhile, it is so big of a deal that it is a cardinal sin that can never be forgiven.

The photo to the left likely gives you a bit of a visual representation for what is set to be the story of this episode: Sheldon ends up spoiling something very beloved to Leonard, which in turn inspires him to become so angry that he tries to go live with Penny. This is not the first time that Leonard has “moved out” of the apartment, as he previously decided to go stay with Priya at Raj’s place during their relationship together. (Ironically, Raj then went to stay with Sheldon.)

So is Sheldon going to find himself a new roommate again with Leonard gone? That remains unclear, but he is going to be spending plenty of time bothering both Johnny Galecki and Kaley Cuoco’s characters. (On a random note, does anyone else find it funny that Leonard dresses in California like he is constantly living in Seattle?)

We still cannot see this new living arrangement being permanent: while Leonard and Penny have made some pretty substantial strides when it comes to their relationship this year, they are still far and away not to the point yet where they are ready to settle down and start a family. (Remember the proposal fiasco? We know that this subject will be addressed on the show again soon, but not this week.)
