‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2 spoilers: Jamie Dorman returning as the Huntsman
Remember the days when it felt like Jamie Dorman’s character of Sheriff Graham was going to be a key part of the “Once Upon a Time” universe? We’re still stunned by how quickly Emma has seemingly forgotten about this when it comes to Regina, and the character or his fairytale counterpart of the Huntsmen have yet to really be referenced at all during season 2.
However, that is about to change in some shape or form. According to a new report from TV Guide, Dorman will be returning to the hit ABC show for at least one episode later on this season … but it will not be in present-day Storybrooke. Instead, expect to see Graham either turn up only in the alternate universe, or in some sort of dream sequence or alternate reality where some of the characters can briefly pretend that he is still alive.
Even after Graham was killed off in stunning fashion, executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz made it abundantly clear that they would love to see the Huntsman return for another go on the show if they were given another opportunity to hire Dorman in the future. The actor was held up medically this past fall due to shoulder surgery, but it looks as though he is now in good enough shape to fly back to the set in Vancouver and shoot some more footage. Based on where production is at the moment, don’t expect his episode to air until some point in either March or April.
