‘Supernatural’ season 8 spoilers: Felicia Day’s not done yet
For those of you who feel that “Supernatural” is always a little bit stronger when there is a certain woman by the name of Felicia Day involved, we have some very good news coming out for you now: the actress will be back one more time before season 8 is over.
This new was first announced earlier Tuesday during a press screening, with the big twist being that this time around, it will actually be Day’s character of Charlie who brings Sam and Dean Winchester a case, rather than her randomly turning up during a case involving LARPing (as was the case last week). The appeal of having Day around is fairly obvious: in between “The Guild” and some of her other side projects, the actress has become a foremost expert in female geek lore, and her fanbase will follow her to the ends of the earth. Plus, she has some great chemistry especially with Jensen Ackles, and let’s face it: the show needs more strong women who are not just love interests.
Before the question even comes up, let’s just go ahead and say that there is no word just yet on if Charlie is going to make out with a fairy again, even though “if the tent is rocking, don’t come knocking” is one of the greater lines we’ve ever heard.
Day’s third appearance on “Supernatural” will come at some point near the end of the season, while the next several weeks will feature Sam and Dean once again taking on the issue of the tablet while also facing Nazi necromancers, a man in love with the human version of his dog, and also their time-traveling grandfather.
