‘True Blood’ season 6 spoilers: A blast from Sookie’s past
One of the great things about “True Blood” finally filming its sixth season now is after such a long and exhausting time waiting to see just sort of stories would be created, we’re not getting a deluge of information now on a weekly basis.
The latest example comes to us via SpoilerTV, and it revolves around the third episode of the season (which will probably air either in late June or early July). The title here will be “Rock Hard Times” (presumably a reference to the Eels song), and producers are already casting for a role in Beverly Hutt who was friends with Sookie Stackhouse’s parents while they were alive. With this in mind, she will also have some valuable information that she will be able to share about the people that they were prior to their untimely death at Warlow’s hands. Beverly will both be seen in present-day Bon Temps along with flashbacks from 20 years ago, when Sookie and Jason were just kids.
The end of season 5 set things up perfectly for there to be a major story moving forward all about Sookie’s family, as she found the contract that more or less promised Warlow some fairies from the Stackhouse family at some point. While it has not been confirmed, rumor has it that this ancient vampire will be an important part of this season, and could even serve as a Big Bad to some extent (though there may be an even Bigger Bad at the moment in Bill Compton, based on his transformation into some sort of vampire god).
