‘Pretty Little Liars’ season 3, episode 17 preview: A ghost comes back
Within the world of “Pretty Little Liars,” few people disappear for good. This is tragically a lesson that many characters are being forced to learn the hard way, and on Tuesday night’s new episode “Out of the Frying Pan, Into the Inferno,” Emily is going to be forced to revisit not one, but two characters who are technically deceased.
ABC Family has released a new sneak peek in addition to the ones we have already shared, and in this one Shay Mitchell’s character receives a mysterious box that was seemingly shipped by the family of “Nate” (or whatever his real name was). In it, there is all sorts of creepy evidence of just what sort of tabs he was keeping on her when it comes to Alison, as it contains a variety of letters that she wrote to her friend back when she was alive. Anyway, Emily’s explanation is that Maya must have found these letters in Alison’s house, and she was going to give them back to her just before she was murdered by a very jealous Nate.
It’s understandable that for the entirety of this clip, Emily’s mom looks as though she is ready to fall over on the floor and start convulsing. However, Emily convinces her that the last thing that they should do is turn the letters over to the police, mostly since it would certainly not look good on Emily’s mom with her new job to immediately start giving the cops a reason to sniff around them … especially when there is really nothing within these letters that can help with the investigation.
Are you glad that “Pretty Little Liars” is not forgetting about Maya, and to a lesser extent, Nate? Be sure to share your thoughts below, and head over here to see some scoop on how Spencer is handling the heartbreaking news about Toby.
