‘Breaking Bad’ season 5 spoilers: Anna Gunn teases ending at SAG Awards
There are not many opportunities that we have in order to get some scoop on “Breaking Bad” season 5, so we really do appreciate awards shows for this very reason. After all, it’s one of the few times in which the actors can’t just hang out in their tiny little bubble on the New Mexico set and not share much in the way of what is happening.
At the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday night, the entire cast of the AMC hit ended up making an appearance, and Skyler White herself in Anna Gunn was of course asked about just what we can expect from the final eight episodes. She did not exactly share too much when it came to details, though the two adjectives she did bring to the table in a chat with Ross Mathews were certainly apocalyptic enough:
“It’s going to be brutal and apocalyptic.”
We know courtesy of Aaron Paul’s Twitter that at this point in filming, most of the cast has at least a pretty good idea as to how the remainder of the series is going to be shaping up. They have at least received the script for episode 13, which means there are only two more scripts out there to be read before the series finale.
There is no definite premiere date for the rest of season 5 just yet, but based on the timeline in which AMC opted to air the show last summer, we anticipate it starting up again at some point in July.
What do you want to see from Skyler over the rest of the series, and do you think that she is going to be able to escape the impossible sort of situation that Walt has placed her in? If you want to see the hilarious new (and unofficial) connection with the show and Lego, you can do so over here.
