‘American Idol’ notes: Lazara Arbos, Jessica Sanchez, Adam Lambert, Pia Toscano

For our Sunday “American Idol” notes, we’re going to start things off with a man who is quickly becoming the most-talked about contestant of the year. Not only has Lazaro Arbos drawn plenty of praise from everyday fans watching the show for both his voice and his incredibly story, but he’s also getting an opportunity to meet one of the show’s most-popular former contestants.

In a new post on his Twitter account, Arbos shared the shot to the left of him alongside season 11 runner-up Jessica Sanchez, who has been extremely important of the show that made her into a star. In addition to this, he also retweeted a message from Jessica herself about him:

“why do I love you so much?!?! Oh yeah, cause you’re amazing :) Muah! x”

Sanchez has been extremely busy over the past several months preparing for the launch of her debut album later this spring; she has a lead single coming out in a matter of weeks, and you have to believe that she will be taking off to “American Idol” at some point in order to perform it.

Adam’s “workout video” – Okay, this is just hilarious. Adam posted the following video on his Keek account, which is basically him working out on a treadmill while performing a particular Rihanna hit. It’s a side of Adam we don’t see often enough, and there’s really no need for a further explanation here.

Pia keeps the tradition going – Remember how Pia Toscano was a little bit of a lucky charm for the Los Angeles Kings throughout much of their playoff run this past season? Well, the season 10 star once again took over the duties for the hockey team’s home opener this weekend, and once again she completely and totally nailed it.

Sadly, the luck did not last for the team this time: the Kings ended up losing their first game of the season.
