‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ season 5 review: Did Kenya Moore take Phaedra Parks’ idea?

On tonight’s episode of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” season 5, Kenya has decided that not only is she not going to work on Phaedra’s “Donkey Booty” work out video after she was told that she would not be receiving any sort of back end payment for all of her work, but that she’s going to take all the work she did and put out her own workout video called “Stallion Booty”.

Kandi finds out that Kenya doing the “Stallion Booty” video and calls Phaedra to tell her.  Phaedra is upset, but isn’t worried about Kenya “copying” her idea.  The women think that it’s very odd that Kenya is doing this video and feel that she’s doing this “Stallion Booty” video as a dig at Phaedra.  Cynthia is shocked when Phaedra starts saying things like that Kenya has a chemical imbalance and is maybe “bi-polar”, but it’s clear that she is saying these things out of frustration for the situation.

Kandi decides to confront Kenya about taking the idea for the “Donkey Booty” video and Kenya explains what happened with Phaedra and why they they aren’t working together anymore.  Kandi tells Kenya that she’s straight out “bootlegging” the “Donkey Booty” video and Kenya says there’s room in the market for both especially since she still has the distribution deal on the table.  She tells Kenya that she needs to talk the situation out with Phaedra, but at this point Kenya is still angry about what happened.

Now that Phaedra and Kenya have fallen out, Porsha sees the opportunity to try and forge a friendship with Phaedra as she felt that Kenya was the divide between them.  Their feelings towards Kenya had a very positive effect on forming a bond between them as they chatted about marriage, children and how Kenya’s actions effected their lives.

Later at Cynthia’s fashion show Kenya tells Phaedra that she’s making her own video and she tells Kenya that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.  Kenya claims that it’s all about business and Phaedra says that copying her idea is absurd.
