‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2 spoilers: Meet some new faces
“Once Upon a Time” already has a pretty enormous cast, so what’s a few more? This must be the philosophy of executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis, as there are some more roles that are currently in the process of being booked for the upcoming 17th episode of the season (which is one several weeks away, and also one without a title).
According to a report from SpoilerTV, the folks behind the ABC hit are looking for a ten-year old boy named Owen (a possibly friend of Henry’s?) who is mourning the loss of his mother, along with the boy’s 40-year old father named Ben. Just from this information alone, there are two things we are able to ascertain already:
1. These characters are almost for certain in Storybrooke, since there aren’t too many people named Owen within the land of fairy tales (though they likely have an alias that is being withheld).
2. Considering that Horowitz and Kitsis were famous for working on “Lost,” they have to be aware of the significant that comes from the name “Ben,” right? Unless they mean this as no homage at all, what we are probably looking at here is a guy who is much more than meets the eye. (Then again, Ben’s a pretty common name, so there could be no tie to the other show, at all.)
Some of the other characters coming up on the show include a few mysterious young women, and quite possibly either Tom Thumb or Thumbelina based largely on the fact that we have an episode coming up entitled “Tiny.”
