‘American Horror Story: Asylum’ episode 12 preview: Shockers and season 3 hints
It seemed almost as though last week at first could have been the finale to “American Horror Story: Asylum,” but then the last five minutes rolled around and it quickly became clear that there was more of a story to tell still when it comes to Briarcliff as well as what is going on with the Son of Bloody Face in the present day.
We’ve already shared with you the promo for Tuesday’s episode “Contiuum,” but for those of you who are looking for some additional scoop to give you an idea of just what lies ahead, here are some details coming in from across the internet:
-For one, Zap2It is reporting that this will be the episode featuring an appearance from a special guest who was also a part of “American Horror Story” season 1; in case you have not heard about the casting yet, we’ll keep it a secret to not spoil the surprise (though we’re pretty sure you will like it).
-For those of you would think that the creepy factor of the show would be starting to die down, we have two words for you: think again.
-Meanwhile, Ryan Murphy told Entertainment Weekly last week that there are going to be some more clues for season 3 scattered through the episode. Based on some of the subtle references in the past few episodes (the music playing from the jukebox and out of the jukebox), our current theory is voodoo in New Orleans. This would be interesting, and it is territory reasonably unexplored on TV these days unless you count a few scenes here and there on “True Blood.”
If you want to hear some more news about Jessica Lange and her now-famous (or infamous, depending on how you look at it) performance of “The Name Game” from earlier this season, you can do so over here.
