‘Two and a Half Men’: CBS boss talks Angus T. Jones, season 11
When Angus T. Jones went on his “Two and a Half Men” rant calling the show that he currently stars in “filth” and urging viewers to stop watching, everyone wondered what the fall out from his comments would be. Would he go the way of Charlie Sheen and be written out of the show or would they have to find a way to keep him because you can’t have “Two and a Half Men” with out the half?
At the recent TCA winter tour in Pasadena this past Saturday, CBS addressed the Jones incident saying that not only do they want to “have an 11th season” of “Two and a Half Men” but that they would very much like Jones to continue to be part of the series. CBS entertainment president Nina Tassler said:
“We’d like him to be part of it next year. I think he would like to come back, too. [Exec producer] Chuck [Lorre] would like him [back], Warner Bros. would… He made his public apology and we’ve moved on. He’s [back on set] next week.”
Tassler went on to say that she feels Jones’ age has something to do with the way he was acting, that between the ages of 19 and 24 there are things that “kids” say that they would later wish they hadn’t. She said:
“This is a happy cast. These are happy people. We had a little bit of a glitch, but… what else is new? The kid’s 19 years old. I have a 24-year-old. Between the ages of 19 and 24, there’s been plenty of things my kid has come out and said that I wish he hadn’t. But I think the bottom line is cooler heads prevailed. He’s been a beloved member of that cast for years and years and years.”
Tassler also notes that there is no deal in place at this time for Ashton Kutcher to return, but it’s highly probably that he will.
Do you want to see Jones stay on “Two and a Half Men” or do you think there should be consequences for what he said? Leave us a comment and tell us what you think?

I like Ashton and the new storylines his character has allowed. It didn’t work in season 9 when they tried more Charie-esque and it was a horrible season to sit though. While sure if Charlie was trying to get into a girl’s pants he would lie if he thought he could only get her if being rich would turn her off but that’s a different reason for lying and Charlie would have never actually get a job or go to the lengths of living that lifestyle. Most importantly Charile would have felt no guilt for the deception. It’s nice to have a lead character that cares for people which makes me emotionally invested in what happens to Walden and I can’t honestly say that was ever the case for Charlie though it was clear Charlie would always be fine and have little or no consequences for his actions.
I do agree that Lindsay is a character I can’t stand. Even Alan deserves better than her though obviously a vast improvement over his ex-wife just because she’s less of a bitch doesn’t make me enjoy the relationship or her character. In the latest description for the show on the 31st it says “Will Alan wake up?” and they meant that will he stop pushing Lindsay away to which I’m thinking the opposite in that will he wake up and just dump her and not be so desperate. He’s clearly miserable with her. Not in the way he was with Judith but he isn’t happy. But yes Jon Cryer is finally getting the recognition he deserves and seems to be having much more fun with his character this season than any of the previous ones.

I’ve tried on more than one occassion to “FORCE” myself to watch Kutcher episodes, CAN’T DO IT.
The “WRITERS” need to return to writing as though they were writing for Charlie and STOP writing the garbage they’re forcing on Kutcher and cast.
The writers have made me not enjoy the acting of Allen’s girlfriend, whom I DID enjoy in According to Jim (think that was the title, honestly I never watched much TV other than Two and a half Men w/ Charlie Sheen. To be honest I didn’t care for Sheen till Two and a half Men. Hmmmm Allen IS the REAL STAR of the show.

Get Charlie back. Rose has been hiding him, keeping him locked up. Could be a ratings block buster.
