NBC’s ‘Community’ season 4 spoilers: Take a first look at the premiere!
On February 7, “Community” is going to be here and back in action, and the possibilities for great comedy seem to be fantastic based just on the show’s history. However, there is also no questioning that this show has a pretty rich history of greatness before it.
So does the clip for the season premiere deliver? At the moment, the best answer that we have to this at the moment is both “yes” and “no.” We really like the premise of this episode, which is Dean Pelton staging a “Hunger Games” sort of competition in order to decide whether or not students will be eligible to take part in a pivotal “history of ice cream class.”
The issue that we have at the moment? Maybe this is us being a little too biased towards Dan Harmon, but there’s just something that feels a little off, and we’re really not sure what it is. Then again, this may just the result of only seeing just a small portion of the episode rather than the full premiere. “Community’s” humor has always been better when watching the full episode as a whole, and maybe this is going to be something that builds into something that is just as hilarious as some of the other episodes that have come before it. There are still some funny lines in here, after all, including the quip about the Dean actually being dressed in normal clothes.
