‘Suits’ season 2 spoilers: Take a look ahead at upcoming episodes, finale
We have already given a pretty in-depth look at the first episode of “Suits” following its fall hiatus, and to go along with that now, we have a few other assorted details to share about some of the installments that we will be seeing on TV very soon. What can you expect from these? Ultimately, we see it as a continued mixture of court case drama, light humor, and the same sort of strong character building that we have week in and week out.
These synopses also take us to the end of the season, which probably makes you think that the folks over at USA are being rather cruel for bringing the show back in the new year, and then only handing down four episodes before sending the show on hiatus until the summer. Nonetheless, we’d still much rather have them than be stopped at 12 episodes for a season rather than 16.
Episode 2×14, “He’s Back” (airing February 7) – “With the resources of the firm stretched to the limit, Daniel Hardman (guest star David Costabile) returns with an outrageous lawsuit against Jessica (Gina Torres).”
Episode 2×15, “Normalcy” (airing February 14) – “Dana ‘Scottie’ Scott (guest star Abigail Parsons) returns to complicate Harvey (Gabriel Macht) and Jessica’s (Gina Torres) battle against Hardman. But this time, she’s brought the full force of her British firm.”
Episode 2×16, “War” (airing February 21) – “Harvey’s (Gabriel Macht) vision for the firm’s future clashes with Jessica’s (Gina Torres) when a British firm offers a tempting proposition.”
Out of everything on the list, the two things that surprise us most is that “Suits” is willing to take a gamble airing an episode on Valentine’s Day (which is, granted, in the middle of sweeps), and the finale hinting at either a major battle coming up between Jessica and Harvey or a way for one of them to get a way out from the firm if that is what they so desire. We do have to ask the following question, though: if Harvey does ever leave, what happens to Mike given that he has really been the protector thus far?
