ABC’s ‘Scandal’ season 2, episode 10 preview: A Fitz surprise

So what is Olivia Pope going to be in for on Thursday night’s new episode of “Scandal” season 2? If there is one definite way to answer this, it would be with this: a surprise. She is going to have her metaphorical socks blown off by what she doesn’t see happening inside of Fitz’s hospital room.

When she arrives to where the President is located, she obviously does so with some sort of understanding that she is being led to a man who has woken up and regained his ability to communicate properly. However, what she finds instead is something rather jarring: a man who is still very much in a coma, and unable to even recognize her presence mere feet in front of him.

The story between Olivia and Fitz is set to become even more convoluted moving forward on the show, especially when it comes to answering the question just how she is going to handle the situation with a man being accused of all sorts of heinous acts: Huck. Despite her personal (and well-documented) relationship with Fitz, she is still going to try and help Guillermo Diaz’s character try to clear his name in whatever way that she can. However, this is going to be a rather difficult journey in its own right, especially when we know already that the show Thursday night is going to air straight out of the gate a pretty extensive torture scene that shows that the government is going to do whatever it can to try and get answers out of Huck.
