‘Bones’ season 8 spoilers: More about Pelant’s return

We have already teased that Pelant will be back to terrorize Hodgins and Angela in a big bad way when “Bones” season 8 returns next week.  Pelant will leave a dead body hanging in the canopy of their bed and a ring of flowers around their baby’s crib, but just how dangerous is Pelant going to be and how are Angela and Hodgins going to handle the fact that Pelant has targeted them and their child?

In a new report from TVLine Hodgins and Angela are going to be taking things into their own hands when it comes to Pelant against Booth’s recommendation to go through the proper channels. With Pelant not only having access to their home, but also to their baby, Hodgins and Angela feel that time is of the essence when it comes to getting a handle on the situation before it escalates. Executive producer Stephen Nathan reveals that Pelant will be part of a bigger organization this time around giving him access to things he never had before.  He said:

“He’s coming back in a really extreme way.  He has somehow gotten himself another identity and has installed himself in a Blackwater-type organization where he has access to military equipment. Pelant has [clearly] been in their house. And they have a child. So it really escalates the story.”

“Bones” season 8 will be back on Fox on Monday, January 14 starting at 8 p.m. for a special double episode, so be sure to tune in for two hours of mystery.
