‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2 spoilers: Big news for Neal Cassady fans
Even though we have only seen Neal Cassady in two episodes of “Once Upon a Time” season 2 thus far, and one of them was just a shot of him opening up a note reading “broken,” we are going to be seeing plenty more of them moving forward. How much so? Let’s just say that the moment Henry’s biological father returns to the show, he will not be leaving for at least a little while.
On Sunday actor Michael Raymond-James held a brief Q&A session on Twitter, and he told a fan that he was going to be in “the remaining episodes” for the season. Granted, the “True Blood” and “Terriers” alum was talking from the point in which the cast is currently shooting, which is a few episodes down the road. We do not know when Neal is going to officially turn up again, but production is usually a few episodes ahead of the ones airing on TV.
With Neal’s arrival, there are undoubtedly going to be a number of questions for him, including why he turned Emma in, whether he has tried to find her before now, and how much contact he really has (if any) with August. The presumption obviously is that Eion Bailey’s character is still alive, but for whatever reason he has not really been addressed all season despite having such a major cliffhanger in the season 1 finale. There are also quandaries about whether or not he could secretly also be Rumpelstiltskin’s son Baelfire, and just how David and Mary Margaret are going to take to finding out more information on Emma’s past.
Do you think more of Neal is good thing to shake up Storybrooke’s image of their “savior”? If you want to take a look at Sunday night’s episode “The Outsider,” you can do so over at the link here.
