‘Game of Thrones’ season 3 spoilers: Iwan Rheon talks filming, but not role
With “Game of Thrones” season 3 already in the can, there are not too many opportunities out there at the moment to hear what some of the people associated with the show’s production have to say about what is coming up. With that in mind, we are especially happy to hear about someone like Iwan Rheon speaking out, even though he is still keeping mum about his role (which you can find out some more details about here).
Speaking in a new interview with Wonderland Magazine, the former “Misfits” star was kind enough to share some general thoughts about the show’s filming process, even if he is at the moment unable to really say much outside of the fact that he is a part of the HBO show moving forward:
“It was brilliant, I really enjoyed. It’s such an epic production. It was really cool to do something different. I really like the show and watched it all in a week when I got offered the part. I was gutted at the end of the second series, I wanted to know what happens but had to wait until we got scripts.”
“Game of Thrones” season 3 filmed Rheon’s scenes in Belfast, Northern Ireland, which is where the vast majority of production occurred earlier this year. His storyline should involve a number of familiar faces, and will also give fans of the George R.R. Martin books yet another reason to celebrate. Is there a franchise out there as loyal as this source material? Based on what we have seen from the show thus far, we think not.
Are you excited to see an actor like Rheon appearing on the show moving forward? Be sure to share some of your thoughts below, and you can see what another “Game of Thrones” actor in Alfie Allen is saying about the show over here.
