‘Supernatural’ season 8 spoilers: Full synopsis on Felicia Day’s return

As noted fans of both “Supernatural” and “The Guild,” we will always say that anything that brings Felicia Day from one show to the other is always going to be welcome; and if the news of her return to The CW was not good enough, the fact that it is for an episode entitled “LARP and the Real Girl” is all the more exciting. There will be live-action role-playing, there will be mystery, and there will hopefully also be quite a bit of fun.

Want to know more details? Well luckily, the network is being kind enough now to release their full synopsis for the January 23 hour, and within it there are promises for all sorts of crazy things to happen:

“Sam and Dean investigate the mysterious deaths of two LARPers (Live-Action Role-Playing) who were playing a game entitled Moondoor. The guys are thrilled to discover the Queen of Moondoor is none other than Charlie. The three learn that a fairy has been commandeered to harm people and the only way to stop her is to find her master.”

As we have reported previously, this mission is going to require both Sam and Dean to don some sort of costumes in order to better fit in with their surroundings, and we are probably more excited about this than is healthy for us to be. This episode just sounds more than anything else like it is going to be a great deal of fun, and it is hard to not be chomping at the bit with excitement over just how this story could progress, and what Day’s Charlie will be like away from the world of computers this time.
