‘The Vampire Diaries’: More from Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder’s season 4 break

We’ve already told you a bit about how Nina Dobrev and her boyfriend / “Vampire Diaries” co-star Ian Somerhalder have spent 2013 thus far, traversing in between Shanghai, China and parts of Thailand; and now, we have a new video of Nina specifically speaking to a crowd of very excited Chinese fans eagerly awaiting to see her face.

While much of the video is in Chinese, have no fear: you will still be able to hear Nina speak out in English about just how excited she is to be in the country, and some of what she is looking forward to doing there.  The video is not incredibly long, but it does give you the sense that the actress is not only genuinely excited to be in the country for the first time, but that she is appreciate of all of her Chinese fans who came out and say “hello.” You have to hand some mad props her way for that, mostly because it is pretty hard to imagine how anyone could sound that excited after being on a plane for as long as she and Ian had leading up to their arrival there.

As for what the couple is up to now, some newly-uploaded photos online suggest that they are still in Thailand this weekend taking in some of the sights, and also staying away from social media. We expect them, however, to be back in America soon, as there is plenty of filming left to be done for “The Vampire Diaries” season 4 in Atlanta.
