‘The Good Wife’ season 4 spoilers: What happened between Kalinda, Nick?

Most fans of “The Good Wife” season 4 have loved much of what has transpired with Alicia over the course of the past several months, but they have not been altogether shy, either, of admitting one other thing: not many of them are particularly big fans of the story between Kalinda and Nick. It was a strange direction in which to take the character, and it is still one that many fans are having a difficult time accepting.

However, the show’s midseason finale did a good job of really putting this story to bed (for now, as we saw the character ultimately end up “going away” courtesy of his estranged wife. So did she get rid of him by some less-than-gentle means? For the time being, that much is still unclear. Speaking to TVLine in a new interview, executive producer Robert King kept his answer fairly brief when asked as to what the fate of Marc Warren’s character on the show truly was:

“There might be repercussions down the line … But at this moment, it’s mysterious.”

This answer is surely going to be very frustrating for many people who want a little bit more in the way of a definitive answer one way or the other, but we are really not quite sure how much more King can give if he wants to keep a few certain aspects of his show a secret for the time being “The Good Wife” still has a great deal of storytelling left to do, and regardless of the fact that most people hated this storyline, it will be hard for Nick to just never be mentioned on the show again moving forward.
