‘Game of Thrones’ season 3: Alfie Allen opens up on Theon Greyjoy
While there were plenty of shining stars throughout “Game of Thrones” season 2 last year, to us there were no bigger surprises than seeing just how much Alfie Allen was able to evolve Theon Greyjoy into a fascinating and at times loathsome character after breaking away from the Starks and briefly taking Winterfell for himself. Our readers also agreed, as they voted him TV’s breakout star of the entire year.
While we know that Theon will at least have some presence during season 3 of the HBO show premiering on March 31, Allen is not saying too much about that yet. As a matter of fact, this is not something that even readers of the George R.R. Martin books really know much about given that (spoiler alert!) the character does not really play as major of a role in A Storm of Swords as he did some of the prior installments in the series.
With this veil of secrecy in mind, Allen does not get into too much detail about his character while speaking out in a new interview with Wired; however, he does do his best to detail his perception of the character, including why he thinks that there are some redeeming qualities to Theon even if not everyone out there tends to see them:
“When we’re pushed into a corner sometimes, you go out fighting and that’s what he does … He’s not the most likable of people, but I think he’s got his reasons and his issues about it. I think he’s never gotten a chance to make decisions about his fate and about his life, so when he gets the opportunity to do that, he makes some rash decisions.”
Personally, we are major fans of the Theon character just because there are few others in Westeros who have so much greed, ego, and ignorance all at the same time.
What do you want to see happen with this character? If you want to hear some words from some “Game of Thrones” stars, it’s pretty simple: all you have to do is head on over to the link here.

they should introduce ramsays character and then show him betray then start to flay theon then cut to another scene making non book readers think he’s dead and then surprise them all a few seasons later when they reveal that he’s survived

Going by what is actually in the books, he should really only be in one scene the entire season.
And in that scene, he’s being horribly, horribly tortured.
