‘How I Met Your Mother’ season 8 spoilers: A title full of love

Is the latest “How I Met Your Mother” season 8 episode title a sign that there is some serious romance in the works … or are the producers just having fun mimicking a certain popular romance movie? It’s hard to tell at the moment, mostly because something so vague can mean so many different things.

Nonetheless, SpoilerTV is reporting that the official title for this episode is going to be “P.S. I Love You,” and to us that really just means one thing above all else: we are on the horizon of something big happen to these characters. So what is it? We’re guessing that this could either be a reminder of someone’s romantic ways, an arrival of someone new into Ted’s life (possibly the character played by former “Saturday Night Live” cast member Abby Elliot), or something else entirely. One thing we can say for sure, though, is that it is probably fair to not expect things to go down here quite like they do in the movies.

As for the air date here, we would have to guess just based on the title alone that we are looking at something that will end up being on at some point near Valentine’s Day, which is as great of a day for love as there is out there. If nothing else this seems perfect for a February sweeps episode in that it probably contains some sort of major moment that will get people talking, even if the word they are saying is just variations of “aww” after someone does something rather sweet.
