NBC’s ‘The Office’ season 9 spoilers: Jon Favreau to direct episode
While you may or may not be in love with “The Office” season 9 thus far, you have to give executive producer Greg Daniels some serious credit. After all, the man is really finding some big names to come on board for some of its final episodes. First, it was “Breaking Bad” star Bryan Cranston; and now, we are also getting a dose of Jon Favreau.
According to a new report from TVLine, the director of “Iron Man” and “Zathura” (who also serves as an executive producer for another NBC show in “Revolution”) is set to direct one of the upcoming episodes of the hit show. At the end of the day, though, scheduling issues are keeping things relatively unclear as to what episode he is going to be directing.
“The Office” still has quite a few stories that it needs to wrap up before the end of its run, including whether or not Jim is going to stay at his Philadelphia business, whether or not Andy and Erin end up making their relationship work, and if Angela will ever forgive Oscar for the affair that he had with the Senator. In addition to all of this, there are also all sorts of other questions coming up as to whether or not Steve Carell and some other faces from the show’s past are going to return.
