NBC’s ‘The Office’ season 9, episode 10 preview: Hints from the winter premiere
What is coming up on “The Office”? The final season of the show is slated to return to NBC with new episodes on January 10, and it looks like it will be doing so first and foremost with an episode that is really all about something that is a rather serious problem in real life, but silly within the context of this show: head lice.
Just when you thought that “The Office” had literally taken on just about as many separate crises as they possibly could within the context of the season, something like this comes along. It should be rather entertaining to see just how everyone reacts separately to the situation, and we know already that at least one person known as Dwight Shrute is going to completely lose his mind over it. Think of this, in other words, as just another instance in which Dwight has lost it.
So is there going to be any movement here when it comes to the series’ endgame? If there is, the show is staying pretty tight-lipped about it for the time being. All we can really tell out of this is that the characters are going to continue to be zany, and hopefully there will be some sort of conclusion down the road here that is true to who they are, and also the sense of realism that was once relatively present with the show.
What do you want to see moving forward as “The Office” reaches the end of its nine-year run? We want to hear some more of your thoughts with a comment below! If you want to know whether or not the backdoor pilot of Rainn Wilson’s “Office” spin-off “The Farm” is still going to air, be sure to head over to the link here in order to find out the answer.
