‘Grey’s Anatomy’ season 9 spoilers: More Bailey scoop!

We may still be waiting for a while to see what happens next on “Grey’s Anatomy” season 9 (specifically, we will be waiting until January 10), but how about some scoop on one of the characters while we wait? Dr. Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson) made a big move during the show’s midseason finale in opting to stay at the hospital and care for Adele Webber rather than attend her own wedding, and there is one primary question that comes as a result of that: will she end up facing some sort of consequences in her love life?

Luckily, we have not heard any guarantees that Bailey and Ben are going to be over anytime soon, but there is still a question as to just how much Jason George we are going to be seeing in the future. Why? The actor has a big role on ABC’s “Mistresses,” which he just wrapped, and that means that his availability for the past few episodes that filmed was probably limited compared to some of the other cast members on the show.

However, George responded to a fan recently on Twitter and explained that it is best not to see his work elsewhere as any sort of sign that he will be limited at all on “Grey’s Anatomy,” claiming that Shonda Rhimes is very “crafty” and could have worked out the schedule in a certain way. After all, there is no guarantee that we have to see Ben in every episode for us to assume that he and Bailey are happy together, primarily since he does not really have too many connections to the other characters story-wise at the moment.
