‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2 spoilers: Hints from Dr. Whale’s next showcase
For those of you who were beyond excited to learn the truth about Dr. Whale on “Once Upon a Time” earlier on in season 2, you are probably going to love the fact that there is an entire episode of television coming up that should hopefully answer even more questions about the man … including just what sort of family life he has in the mysterious black-and-white world that we saw briefly in “The Doctor” this past fall.
You may have already heard that the January 13 installment of the hit show is entitled “For the Love of the Brother,” and now we have the full synopsis coming in courtesy of the good folks over at ABC:
“Dr. Whale is tasked with mending Hook’s wounds and performing surgery on the stranger whose car crashed upon entering Storybrooke. But some of the townspeople fear that the stranger may have seen magic — which could expose their true identities to the world — and think that leaving him to die would be the best solution. Meanwhile, as Mr. Gold tries to reunite with a despondent Belle, Cora attempts to reunite with daughter Regina; and in the land that was, Victor desperately wants to prove to his disapproving father that he can, indeed, bring back the dead.”
This synopsis does give us a little bit more credence to what Colin O’Donoghue said recently, as he does not spend too much time with most of the residents of Storybrooke early on after his arrival into the town. However, this still does still leave the question very much open as to how he ends up getting injured here to begin with. (Does he have an awkward run-in with Rumpelstiltskin?)
What do you think about this synopsis? If you want to see what former “Charmed” star is going to be playing a younger version of Cora on “Once Upon a Time” season 2, we have some good news you: you can find out by heading on over to the link here.

I’ve done research and it looks like 2×13 is Hook’s last ep. I’d hate to be right, but I probably am.
