‘Two and a Half Men’ season 10: How does [spoiler] make it to New York?
If you recall our article from Tuesday about the upcoming 13th episode of “Two and a Half Men” this season, you will recall that Kate (Brooke D’Orsay) is going to have received an opportunity to hold a fashion show for some of her clothing in New York City. However, there was still one thing that was relatively unclear at that time: how in the world does she get the money to consider that, especially since Walden is lying to her about who he is, and her sewing machine was even broken prior to the end of last week’s episode?
Well, we now have an answer for you courtesy of the synopsis for the January 3 episode “Welcome to Alancrest,” and let’s just say that the secret fortune of Ashton Kutcher’s character is very much involved as he continues to play god with a sweet woman that thinks her boyfriend is some poor guy named Sam who is just trying to make his own dreams come true:
“Using Walden’s money, Alan invests in Kate’s fashion line. Meanwhile, leading a double life starts to take its toll on Walden.”
The latter part of this statement in particular does not comes as a surprise, mostly because we saw him struggling last week to keep his actual business afloat while at the same time pretending to work at an establishment selling Christmas trees. We’ve been writing about this storyline a good bit lately because it feels more earnest than most of what the show has put on the small screen lately, though we do still have to re-state our skepticism that it lasts given that D’Orsay has another job already on “Royal Pains.”
If you were in Kate’s shoes, would you stay with a guy like Walden if he suddenly told you he was a billionaire? If you want to read more about episode 13 if you haven’t already, be sure to check it out here.
