‘Once Upon a Time’ season 2 spoilers: Colin O’Donoghue teases trouble for Hook
When Captain Hook on “Once Upon a Time” first decided to take his revenge on Rumpelstiltskin in Storybrooke, we have a feeling that he thought it would at least be marginally easier than it is going to be. After all, how could the man have even more power in this world than he did back in the fairytale land prior to the curse being placed upon so much of the land?
As it turns out, though, “Mr. Gold” is still going to be able to use magic in this other world, and as actor Colin O’Donoghue tells TVLine’s “Spoiler Alert,” this is going to create a rather interesting problem for him when it comes to how he wants to take on this notorious villain, who he was obviously hoping would be stripped of some of his power:
“Hook obviously wants to get his revenge on Rumpelstiltskin … When he arrives in Storybrooke, he doesn’t have much interaction with the people of Storybrooke straight off. He’s kind of stealthy about how he goes about his business. He realizes that magic is still in Storybrooke pretty early on, and therefore Rumple is still very powerful. He has to be very careful about hos he tries to go about his revenge.”
As for how Cora interacts with the people of the town, that much is still unclear given that like with Regina, it may take her a little bit of time to figure out how to handle magic within this world. If that is the case, it would not surprise us if she also tries to lay low for at least the first little while.
How badly do you want to see a showdown between Hook and Rumple? If you want to read up on who on “Once Upon a Time” season 2 may be in danger of losing their lives, you can find out over at the link here.

I disagree whole-heartedly. I could take-or leave Aurora and Mulan. With Hook, my interest in the show has been revived. Without him, I could take-or-leave the show. It really wasn’t that interesting before he showed up. If he is getting killed off, I’ll be looking for something else to watch. Who knows, whose beloved fairy tale character they’ll kill next.

Actually I’d love to see Hook gone…he, Mulan, and Aurora added nothing to the main plot line except for the flashback of what happened to Bae’s mom…it’s about the stroy not whether or not an actor playing a part is good looking or not.

I think I’d like to see a continued rivalry between Hook and Rumpel. That’d certainly make things interesting. Eventually though, it’d be nice if they were coldly cordial to eachother, while Hook (if even for a little while) redirected his priorities toward a love interest, and the sure drama to follow, the subsequent events to follow, etc. This would be much more interesting than a “revenge” idea that will surely get dry after a while. Colin O’Donoghue is the best thing to happen to this show in a long time though. Can’t wait to see more of him. He is so hot!!!! Emma girl, you really are a blonde if you’re gonna pass him up!

I doubt any of that is true, Charlie. They’d be crazy with a capital C to do that, seeing as how popular he already is. He is absolutely adorable! I hope they keep him for a long time.
