‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 4: Who’s landing another gig?
Are we about to see less of April on “The Vampire Diaries” season 4? We don’t know the answer to that just yet, but the actress responsible for playing her has landed another job that could cause her to at least spend a little bit of time away from Mystic Falls in the future.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, actress Grace Phipps, who first got a start as a part of “The Nine Lives of Chloe King,” is going to be appearing in at least two episodes of another ABC Family series in “Baby Daddy,” where she will be appearing as a love interest for Ben during the show’s second season. Specifically, she will be playing a daycare manager who doesn’t believe Ben is interested in her, only to find out that this turns out to actually be the case.
Depending on when this role begins filming, it could have an impact on whether or not April decides to either take a break from all the vampire action in Mystic Falls (as she is probably realizing now that sticking around was a pretty bad idea), or if she even lives to see that much more of it. During the midseason finale, she was the person responsible for finding Rebekah’s body after she was daggered earlier this season; and now, her ally is now back on the loose.
The fact that “The Vampire Diaries” shoots in Atlanta probably makes it even harder for many of the actors to travel around from show to show, but so long as the schedules work out all right, we have a feeling that Phipps could end up working it out.
