‘Two and a Half Men’ season 10: Is Walden about to reveal [spoiler]?
While we have been beyond critical of “Two and a Half Men” over the years for their treatment of “love interests” as more or less some sort of interchangeable product, the recent addition of Brooke D’Orsay as Kate has been a rather fun one. Why? She is one of the few characters to appear on the show who is neither dumb, conniving, or awful in any way, and seems to actually genuinely love Ashton Kutcher’s character of Walden.
The problem here? That in Kate’s eyes, Walden is a poor, idealist guy by the name of Sam, and was created just so that Walden could find someone who did not want to be with him for his money. We knew that this illusion would be destroyed eventually, and it looks like it will come in the January 10 episode entitled “Grab a Feather and Get in Line.” Here is what the official synopsis reads from CBS:
“Walden and Alan go to Kate’s fashion show in New York so Walden can tell her the truth about his identity.”
We don’t know if this episode will also mark the end of D’Orsay on the show, mostly because you do have to remember here that she is a series regular on “Royal Pains,” and we don’t know how long she can continue to film two shows at once. If there is some sort of hope, it is that the USA series will only have 13 episodes airing next summer, and it may start filming late enough that Kate could have a few more episodes in the can following this one.
Do you want to see Kate stick around as Walden’s love interest, or do you think she is going to bolt immediately the moment that she finds out just who he really is and the secret he has been keeping? If you want to check out our most-recent “Two and a Half Men” review, you can do so over here.
