‘Glee’ season 4 preview: Want more music from Alex Newell?
When it was first revealed that ‘Glee Project’ runner up Alex Newell was going to part of “Glee” season 4 fans couldn’t have been more thrilled with the casting. Even though Alex came in second place to Lindsay Pearce, there was no looking away from the energy that Alex brings as well as his incredibly powerful voice.
We haven’t had nearly enough songs on this season of “Glee” that feature Newell, so when we heard that Alex’s character of “Unique” would be singing “Joy To The World” on this Thursday’s Christmas episode called “Glee, Actually” we couldn’t wait another three days to hear it – and luckily and neither do you. If you can’t wait until Thursday then you can take a listen to Newell’s version of the Christmas classic here.
Thursday’s episode of “Glee” is a big episode for Klaine fans as Blaine will head out to New York to have a skating date with Kurt and all of us at home will be hoping and praying for some sort of reconciliation – or at least a Christmas kiss. Meanwhile back at McKinley High, Sam and Brittany will be trying to get the most out of 2012 before the Mayan apocalypse happens and Jake and Puck will be spending Hanukkah together.
Be sure to tune in this Thursday for the midseason finale of “Glee” season 4 airing at 9 p.m. on Fox and if you’re still wanting to hear more music from the “Glee Actually” episode before Thursday rolls around, you can have a listen to Jake and Noah Puckerman sing “Hanukkah O Hanukkah” here.
