‘Boardwalk Empire’ season 3 finale spoilers: What to expect

While “Boardwalk Empire” season 3 started off a little slow (which may be why why it has fallen off the TV radar of a good many writers out there), it has since risen to the occasion and returned almost to its stellar season 1 form over the past few episodes. With Owen gone and with tension higher than ever, we may in store for one of the biggest episodes yet on Sunday.

So what can you expect to see transpire over the course of the hour? Here are just a few details that are out there based on everything that is floating around on the internet. According to TVLine, you can first of all feel overjoyed (or angry, depending on your opinion of the character) that Margaret will be appearing in the episode. In addition to that, she will also be making some sort of earth-shattering decisions that will have viewers talking for weeks … and possible even until season 4 starts filming next year.

In addition to that, there is also set to be a sex scene in this episode that is disturbing even by HBO standards. Remember, this is the network responsible for showing us Bill Compton spinning a woman’s head around 360 degrees during an episode of “True Blood” while doing the deed, or that creepy scene from “Game of Thrones” season 1 where Littlefinger more or less instructs two women on how to make love to each other.

Finally, we’ll close things off with the official promo for those of you who have not seen it already; and with that in mind, we won’t spoil anything since it is really better off to watch.
