‘Homeland’ season 2 spoilers: Carrie goes through the wringer

Regardless of what is going to be happening moving forward on “Homeland” season 2, we can guarantee one thing at the moment: it is going to lead to some hard times for Carrie. The new photo that we have attached to this article is coming from the 11th episode of the fall airing a week from Sunday, and as we told you about previously, it carries with it the rather obnoxious title of “The Motherf–ker with a Turban.”

In many ways, it even feels redundant to try and describe just what is going on in this photo, especially since it looks and feels to be obvious: Carrie is bloodied and roughed-up after what have been some sort of nasty fight, but there is a steely look in her eyes that suggests that she is still eons away from giving up on whatever her plans at the moment happen to be. We know that she is a tough character despite her emotional flaws, and this could very well be the moment where she wakes up and realizes that perhaps Nicholas Brody is still not the man she wants him to be. (Maybe. We all can dream…)

What we can tell you is that episode 11 will probably contain some of the biggest shockers of the season, and that is saying quite a bit considering that this is a show that also arrested Brody earlier this season, and now actually has him working with the CIA rather than against them to try and take down a serious terrorist threat. All we know right now is that despite saving the military homecoming event, Abu Nazir is not only alive, but he could be out for blood now that he knows Damian Lewis’ character is seemingly no longer on his side.
