‘Sons of Anarchy’ season 5 finale spoilers: First look at a showdown (video)
As we learned during the penultimate episode of “Sons of Anarchy” season 5 Thursday, time is now very much of the essence … and Jax is going to have to move fact and act drastically if he wants to ensure that he takes Clay down before he flees the country to Belfast.
First things first, let’s look at the title for the 13th and final episode of the year: “J’ai Obtenu Cette.” What’s the meaning here? As we pointed out previously, the loose translation of this French phrase is more or less “I got this.” When you consider the stakes for the hour, this actually seems to make perfect sense. Jax is likely going to spend this finale trying to ensure that both SAMCRO and his family is safe. One way to do this? Taking down Tig, who Pope wants on a platter in return for him ensuring that Clay dies before he can escape. (If you remember, this is the only way Jax can have him die while at the same time keeping his honor within the club.)
As for what else you can expect next week, the promo below shows us that the Wendy saga is far from over, and that even Gemma is going to get involved now in trying to keep the Teller family together as long as possible. We anticipate there being some surprising twists and turns in here as there are so many variables in play here, and we have not even brought in Juice or Eli Roosevelt into the equation yet. Ron Perlman recently promised that not everything will be tied up in this episode, so be sure to also expect at cliffhanger and plenty of loose ends.
